Professor Yu Zong Chen obtained his PhD in University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in 1989. He then worked at Purdue University as a postdoc and at ISIS pharmaceuticals to conduct antisense drug design, Since 1997, he has been working at the National University of Singapore as a lecturer, senior lecturer, Associate Professor, Department head, and Professor. He pioneered the inverse docking method for target discovery, led the development of the popular therapeutic target database, revealed the distribution patterns of drug producing species in nature, and is among the first groups of scientists who explored machine learning methods for predicting protein function, drug target, ADME-Tox, and multi-target leads.

His research interests are in bioinformatics, cheminformatics, computer aided drug design, herbal medicine, art and science.

Prof. Dr Anil Kumar Saxena obtained his undergraduate degree from G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, India. Subsequently, he attained M.D. (Pharmacology) from K.G. Medical University, Lucknow, India. He worked as Research Associate, Lecturer, Assist. Prof., Assoc. Prof., Professor at K. G. Medical University, India from 1975 to 2007. Currently he is Prof. in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, IIUM, Kuantan, Malaysia. He is actively involved in teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and is deeply involved in Research and has published about 70 research papers in journals of repute. He is a Member of International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and Life Member of Indian Pharmacological Society.

Young-Ger Suh is a Professor of College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy in 1975 and received Ph.D. degree from University of Pittsburgh in 1987. Currently, he is a President of Korean Society of Organic Synthesis, a full member of The Korean Academy of Science and Technology, a Fellow of Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry, and a Vice President of The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies. He has published more than 150 papers in reputed journals and presented more than 200 papers at Scientific Meetings.

His research interests include development of selective cellular signaling regulators, and natural products syntheses as well as elucidation of mode of actions. The molecular targets are STAT3, HIF1, PPARs, TRPV1, Nrf2 and RAGEs. He is currently actively working on development of anticancer agents inhibiting AIMP2-DX2 or STAT3 and anti-angiogenic agents inhibiting HIF1 for the treatment of retinal neovascularization.

Prof. Dr Syed Azhar Syed Sulaiman obtained his undergraduate degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia and later pursue Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Michigan USA.He worked as junior lecturer for 2 years then he was elected to the deputyDean and later Dean School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2002 until 2012. He is actively involved in teaching clinical pharmacy in Malaysia and various countries in Asia Pacific. He was invited by the faculty and schools of pharmacy namely in Iran, India, Turki, Vietnam, China, Jordan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Mongolia, India, Pakistan, Emirates,Sudan and few other countries to teach undergraduates and Master in Clinical Pharmacy program. In the countries he is also actively being invited to numerous of public and private universities to teach clinical pharmacy.

He is also actively involved in research activities involving Palm oil tocotrienol for diabetes, Alzheimer, peripheral neuropahty ; halal concept of pharmaceutical products, production of new insulin like structure for diabetes product from frog and few other research areas. He has produced more that 2 dozens PhD’s and master in clinical pharmacy by research and published more then 200 papers in various journals and abstracts around the world. He is also the editor and committee members for various journals in Malaysia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Canada, India and few others around the globe.

Prof. Jian Wang has completed his PhD from University of New Mexico (USA) and postdoctoral studies from The Scripps Research Institute (California, CA) with Prof. Peter G. Schultz. In 2009, he joined National University of Singapore as a faculty. In 2013, he moved to Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) as a full professor.

Prof. Jian Wang has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editor of Journal of Natural Product Against Cancer.

Dr Ahmad Nazrun Shuid is a Professor of Pharmacology at the Pharmacology Department, Faculty of Medicine UKM (University Kebangsaan Malaysia). He graduated with a medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1997 and completed his PhD in UKM in 2005. Currently he is a lecturer and researcher at UKM.

He is a member of the Bone Metabolism Research Group with interest on the use of natural product for treatment of osteoporosis. He has received several grants with the total amount of nearly RM1 million Ringgit Malaysia. To date he has published more than 80 articles in ISI/Scopus indexed journal.

Dr. Ying-Yong Zhao (PhD, MD) is professor at Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Northwest University in China. Zhao is interested in oxidative stress, inflammation, and pro-fibrotic pathways of chronic kidney disease and tubulo-interstitial diseases, molecular biology of kidney gene expression and therapeutic effect of natural medicines by pharmacology, metabolomics and lipidomics. He is a reviewer of more than 30 famous international journals including Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Journal of Chromatography A, Clinica Chimica Acta, Disease Markers and Molecular Biosystems in the area of pharmacology, metabolomics and lipidomics studies. He serves as more than 10 international journal of editorial board member or editor. Zhao has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. He received several awards including National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award, New Century Excellent Talents in University, Sanofi Young biological drugs Award and Fifteenth SERVIER Youth Pharmacology Award.

Professor of Pharmaceutical Microbiology, since 1999, Faculty of Pharmacy , Alexandria University, Egypt. She was an active member of National Committee of National Academic Reference Standards of Pharmacy ( NARS), in 2009, at NAQAAE. She was a member of Pharmaceutical Studies Sector Committee at Supreme Council of Universities ( 2007-2014), in Egypt .She is the Secretary of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Immunology Committee to promote Professors and Associate Professors at Supreme Council of Universities, Egypt. She worked as Expert at Project Management Unit (PMU) , Ministry of Higher Education, Egypt last two years. Now, she is working as Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at Pharos University, Alexandria – Egypt. Moreover, she is Certified Reviewer for educational programs and institutions, at NAQAAE.

Ligong Chen has completed his PhD from University of California at Berkeley and postdoctoral studies from UCSF School of Medicine and pharmacy. He is the principal investigator in pharmacology and toxicology of Tsinghua University School of Medicine, a premier University in China. He has published more than 20 papers in reputed journals including Nature Genetics, PNAS, and JBC et al.

He is an expert in transporter physiology and pharmacology. His lab is working on various transporters’ role in human diseases, using metabolomics, genomics and proteomics as major tools.

Prof.Dr.Sawsan Amer, starting higher school 1972 , obtained her B. Pharmceutical chemistry 1977 & M.Sc.1980 from Cairo University, faculty of pharmacy ,Egypt . he has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years in 1985 from Cairo University.She is Full Professor from 2003-present & Head of Analytical Chemistry Department Faculty of pharmacy Cairo University from 2010- present. She worked as Pharmaceutical researcher in National Research Center 1977, Assistant Lecturer 1980, Lecturer1985 & Assistant professor in Analytical Chemistry Department, Faculty of Pharmacy Cairo University 1995 & in Faculty of Science, King Saud University 1993 .She has published more than 50 papers international journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of Bulletin faculty of pharmacy, Cairo University & reviewer in journal of Talanta , Analytical Chemica Acta, Spectrochemica Acta, Saudi Pharmaceutical Journal & many Others . She is a member of the Syndicate of Pharmacists. the Professional Society of Pharmacists, Egypt, the Society of Analytical Chemistry, Egypt , and in the Society of Saudi Chemists. She has supervised more than 20 master & PhD thesis . Also she was involved in judging committee for more than 25 thesis.

Professor Dr.Sawsan Mohamed Amer has specialized in the quantitative analysis of drugs in pharmaceutical compounds ,biological samples & in combinations with others . She is also interested in stability indicating methods of analysis of drugs in presence of their degradation products, impurities & related compounds. Also she has involved in analysis of chiral separation compounds .She has published more than 50 papers including different analytical techniques including spectroscopy, flourimetry , chemometry, chromatography as TLC densitometry & HPLC , electrochemistry as ion selective electrode & polarography. She is interested in Capillary Electrophoresis technique & introduced a review article on its modes & applications

Daishun Ling is currently working as a Professor in College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University, PRC. He did his Ph.D. during 2009-2013 in School of Chemical & Biological Engineering, Seoul National University. He is a Senior Researcher at Center for Nanoparticle Research, Institute for Basic Science (IBS), ROK.

Specialized in the synthesis, assembly, and biomedical applications of nanomaterials. Our recent research is focused on the rational design, synthesis and assembly of biocompatible and functional nanoscale materials for cancer diagnosis and therapy, drug/gene delivery, wound healing, stem cell therapy, protein immobilization, biocatalysis, etc. We also interested in preclinical ADME (in vivo metabolism and Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic analysis) and toxicological evaluation of nanostructured materials, and the translation of advanced nanomaterials into clinical applications

Soheil Zorofchian Moghadamtousi has completed his Master at the age of 24 years from Islamic Azad University of Iran and started his PhD in Malaya University, Faculty of Science in 2013. He is a member of the Bright Spark Scholarship in University of Malaya. He has published more than 15 papers in prestigious Tier I and Tier II journals.

Mr. Sameer J. Nadaf has completed his M. Pharm at the age of 23 from Shivaji University Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He is currently working as junior research fellow and doing Ph. D in pharmaceutical science at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur.
